When Does Worship Start?
We have service 10:00-11:00 AM on Sundays
in the Main Sanctuary.
Kid’s Own Worship meets at 10:00 am upstairs
for kids ages 4 to 5th grade.
What Does Worship Service
Look Like?
Our service blends traditional and praise service elements, with singing of hymns accompanied by organ, as well as praise music with keyboard.
We use a multi-media approach to communicate the message from the Pastor as he applies Scripture to our everyday lives.
What Do I Wear?
The short answer is whatever you want!
People wear anything from shorts, t-shirts, and jeans to dresses and dress pants and everything in between!
Where Do I Park?
Parking for Church Services and Events is available at our two lots; the main lot at Walnut St. and on 5th Street at Rt. 462. Additional parking is available at Kraft Funeral Home across from the church on Walnut Street.
What if I Don’t Have Transportation?
Transportation to Columbia United Methodist Church Services is available on our handicapped-accessible bus!!
Please call the church office at (717) 684-2356 by 2:00 pm Wednesday to arrange pickup Sunday morning.
Where Do I Go Once I’m Inside?
Once you park in a lot adjacent to CUMC, you will enter through one of the sets of double glass doors
(there is a sign for the senior center).
You will be greeted at the Welcome Center and they will answer any question you have as well as show you where to go.
What Should I Do
With My Children?
Kids are dismissed at the beginning of the service for
Kid’s Own Worship.
What About Older Children
and Youth?
Older children attend worship each Sunday.
Youth in grades 6th-12th meet quarterly for special activities.
